Summer Newsletter

Hello,

What a fantastic and productive summer it’s been so far here at team EEA!
Our first summer workshop “How to design a culture of Employee Engagement ” in July was really well attended, hugely interactive, lots of great talk and wonderful pastries. Further info on the event, including the write up summary, is mentioned below.

Our Networking Drinks Party in August held at the fabulous new Peakon London office was a huge success. The room was buzzing with people having a good chat, and not just about employee engagement! We would like to extend our thanks to Peakon for co-hosting this event with us.

Our First Training Programme designed for business leaders and HR managers specifically on Employee Engagement is on the way. We’ve included the link to the programme and more details below.

We’re also delighted to announce some more fantastic events and webinars coming up over the next few months. The first of which is our “Creating Inclusive Cultures” event. This is a half day learning event with an absolute stellar line up of guest speakers on all topics relating to Diversity & Inclusion. It’s really not to be missed!

The Employee Engagement Awards entry deadline is fast approaching in little over a month. Make sure you get the recognition you deserve for all the fantastic work you’ve been doing in Engagement in your organisations. The case study on what Virgin Trains did to win the Company of the Year Award 2016 and how you can enter is all below.

And my final thought… the school summer holidays are now coming to an end. A whole six weeks of fun, chaos, questionable weather and overpriced attractions. But also six weeks of entertaining our children and in some cases finding childcare. Do we do enough to support parents during these long school summer holidays? What do you offer in your organisations to ensure the right balance is found for the parents amongst your workforce? How do you balance this as fair throughout your employees? What stumbling blocks might you have come across?

I’d love to hear from you [email protected]
