About our Learning opportunities
Our members have encouraged us to apply the adage ‘you don’t know what you don’t know’ to our learning and development services. That’s why we run learning events, webinars and conferences, so you can stay up to date with new thinking and the latest proof of the value that employee engagement delivers. It’s also why we encourage our members to give us ideas for new ways to help the community learn. Members always pay less. And many of our events are free to members.
If you want to develop your skills – or those of your colleagues – we’ve a range of discounted training courses to choose from. And, don’t forget, our Resources section is filled with invaluable content that can help you learn too – all free to Alliance members.

Why people like you learn with the Alliance
“What a brilliant informative event, I loved that the speakers shared stories from their own business. I found it really useful and would definitely recommend. I have taken away lots of things to consider in my own department and have shared a write up of the day with the DWP National Engagement Network.”
Dispute Resolution Team Product Manager, DWP
“The informal nature of the event and the buzz around learning about engagement from other people who “get it” . Dr Brann was so knowledgeable and provided a really useful insight into neuroscience and how we can teach an old dog new tricks.”
Ministry of Justice Employee Engagement Manager and Race Ambassador
“Great evening, professionally organised. Well informed of all requirements prior to the event”
“The EEA is an invaluable source of information, learning and networking specifically within the employee engagement sector. Whether you’re new to the sector or have been doing this for a while, I can’t recommend it highly enough.”
Director, Become Communications.
“Very friendly and welcoming staff. Well thought out way of delivering a great message.”
Event Lead, Cooper Parry
“Well organised, interesting speakers, short and to the point. Loved the gin trolley!”
Head of Internal Comms and Engagement, Together Money
“The event was so relaxed and I knew straight away that I was going to learn a lot. Everyone was really friendly which, as an introvert, I found especially helpful for the networking sessions, which can be intimidating!”
Communications Manager, NAHL Group Plc
“Relevant, impressive venue with mind blowing presentations by inspiring speakers. Host was welcoming, engaging, refreshing and expertly passionate about employee engagement and keeping it human. Excellent Event, can’t wait for the next one.”
