The first “Culture Open Mic Night”

Join us at the Totem Studio in the historical tanneries as we celebrate their move into their brand new, bigger, better space with our very first Culture Open Mic night!

Why an open mic night you ask? Well we want to celebrate the good (and the bad) in all things culture, in a relaxed and collaborative environment. We have a line up of awesome speakers who will be sharing their stories of what they did about culture in their own worlds of work.

So if culture is important to your business, this is the event for you.

The Details

On the evening of 1st May we’ll hear from incredible leaders who will take the mic to share their stories on building amazing workplace cultures.

They’ll have just 5 minutes to share their best possible learnings with us all, including:

  • How did they build their engaging cultures
  • What can we learn from failure
  • How to really nail comms
  • Where does diversity fit in to culture
  • How to turn a big ship
  • What even is flexible working?
  • How to answer a question you already asked your employees
  • And more

May 1st  6 – 9pm

(feel free to show up from 5.30pm!)

Drinks and nibbles provided

Speakers who have already confirmed and eager to take the Mic are:

Perry Timms, Founder & Chief Energy Officer at PTHR

Debra Ward, Managing Director of Camm & Hooper

Marcus Thornley, CEO & Founder of Play & Totem

Shelley Lavery, COO and Founder of Jiminny

Gethin Nadin, Director at Benefex and Author of A World of Good

Want to get involved?

We’d really like to hear from YOU and what you’ve been doing about culture in your business. This isn’t a long, heavily prepared “Ted Talk” – more of a relaxed, informal, ‘over a glass of wine’ type gig. And in case you’re wondering, no slides!

We can’t wait to hear from you!

NOTE: Due to the nature of the Studio, we do have extremely limited space and availability –  Therefore, if the event becomes oversubscribed we may need to give priority to internal practitioners and reserve the right to politely cancel your seat (vendors or consultants) –   pop us a message if you’ve got any questions beforehand!
