Hello members, friends and followers,

Whilst it’s possibly been the wettest March on record in the UK, the rain and snow this month certainly hasn’t put a dampener on our spirits across team EEA.

We’ve met over 150 people at our events, seen ten new individual members join us and welcomed three new corporate members – FanDuel, Ministry of Justice & NHS Business Services.

We started the month on ‘Beast from the East’s’ worst day to hit London with The European Employee Engagement Conference which despite the snow, saw a fantastic turnout with a super inspiring line-up of speakers. It was an absolute pleasure to be hosting the day. If you weren’t able to make it we’ll have a series of blogpost content to come from this – the first of which you can read now. 

I was delighted to be announced as chairman of the newly formed PRCA Employee Engagement Group – we held the launch event this month and I went home with a bag full of suggestion cards on areas the group members were looking to extend their learning in Employee Engagement this year.

I also spent a day at Totem Towers discussing all things engagement & gaming whilst practising some Mario Kart playing – I’ve got a lot of work to do on that bit!

Following on from the success of our Midlands, UK event we’re delighted to be bringing you events in Manchester (this month) , London (in May) and  Edinburgh (in June). Our Manchester event, held at the iconic Old Trafford stadium including a private stadium tour is not to be missed!

We’re delighted to announce the line-up of ExChange on May 24th in London and we’ve started to provide you with the series of podcasts and interviews – including a Q&A with the hosts for the day featuring me!

The diary is looking full for the next few months so if you haven’t already, don’t forget to secure your places at our upcoming events and webinars – and of course our summer rooftop parties in Chicago London.
